The Story Behind Perfect Soora

The Photo Booth Business is something we started back in 2016 during my first pregnancy. Due to severe hyperemesis gravidarum the dream was short lived much more on that later. Fast forward a decade later and we decided ‘why not try our photo booth business again”. When we began searching for a name this time around, we kept coming back to the idea of a picture-perfect moment and the idea of the perfect picture.

When Picture Perfect wasn't available, we discovered something that felt even more meaningful.

After much back and forth during a car ride my husband and I settled on the word Soora. Soora—the Arabic word for picture—became the inspiration behind Perfect Soora.

Perfect Picture…and Picture Perfect if read from right to left as one would do in Arabic. A simple play on words. A meaningful piece of our story.

Because Perfect Soora represents exactly what we love creating: beautiful photographs, lasting memories, and the moments you'll want to relive for years to come.

Then came the detail that made the name feel complete.

The initials of Perfect Soora also stand for Postscript—the final note left behind after the story has been told.

To us, that's exactly what our work is about.

It's the laughter captured in a photo booth.

The heartfelt messages left on a video guestbook.

The behind-the-scenes moments you didn't even realize were happening.

The memories you'll revisit long after the celebration has ended.

Every event tells a story.
